National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Admission Notification for 10th and 12th Examinations

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the admission notification for Secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (10+2) examinations. Eligible learners interested in appearing for the Public Examination can apply online. Here are the details:

Courses Offered:

• Secondary (10th)
• Senior Secondary (12th)

Age Limit:

• For Secondary (10th): Born not later than 31.05.2006.
• For Senior Secondary (12th): Born not later than 31.05.2005.

Qualification:

• For Secondary (10th): Pass in Primary (5th) Class.
• For Senior Secondary (12th): Pass in Matriculation (10th).

Fees:

• Secondary (10th):
  • General Male: Rs. 1800/-
  • General Female: Rs. 1450/-
  • SC/ST/ESM/PwD: Rs. 1200/-
• Senior Secondary (12th):
  • General Male: Rs. 2000/-
  • General Female: Rs. 1650/-
  • SC/ST/ESM/PwD: Rs. 1300/-
• Additional Subjects: Rs. 720/- for all candidates.
• Fees should be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI.

Application Process:

• Eligible learners can apply online from March 16, 2023, to September 15, 2023, for Block – I Exam (April/May 2024) and from September 16, 2023, to March 15, 2024, for Block – II Exam (October/November 2024).
• No need to send the filled application form to the concerned department.

• Start Date: September 16, 2023
• Closure Date to Apply without Late Fee: January 31, 2024
• Closure Date to Apply with Rs. 200/- Late Fee: February 15, 2024
• Closure Date to Apply with Rs. 400/- Late Fee: February 28, 2024
• Closure Date to Apply with Rs. 700/- Late Fee: March 15, 2024
• Examination Date: October/November 2024

• Closure Date to Apply without Late Fee: July 31, 2023
