New APL Ration Card Portal Launched by Haryana Food Department:

The Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department of Haryana, known as Haryana Food, has introduced a new online portal for applying for a new ration card.

Key Highlights:

• The portal facilitates the application process for obtaining a new ration card through online mode exclusively.

Documents Required for Application:

• Family ID (PPP)
• Mobile Phone Number (As provided in the Family ID)

Application Process:

1. Candidates can apply directly via the Saral Haryana Portal [https://saralharyana.gov.in/], or visit a CSC Centre, any computer/cyber cafe, or apply online independently.
2. It’s advised to ensure all details in the Family ID are correct before applying for a new ration card.

Note:

• Applicants can now apply for APL ration cards through the Saral portal. These cards will be generated based on the Family ID/PPP database.
• Any necessary changes in the ration card should be made by first correcting the Family ID/PPP details.

Steps to Apply:

1. Click on the “Apply New Ration Card Online” link provided below.
2. Register on the Saral Haryana Portal if not already registered.
3. Log in to the Saral Haryana Portal after registration.
4. Click on “Apply for Services” after logging in.
5. Select “View All Available Services.”
6. Search for “APL Ration Card” in the search box.
7. Click on “Issuance of New Above Poverty Line (APL) Ration Card.”
8. Select “I Have Family ID” and fill in your Family ID No., then submit OTP.
9. After OTP submission, provide the required information to the portal.
10. Upon completion, a receipt will be generated with a link to download your new APL Ration Card.

Steps to Download Ration Card:

1. Visit the Official Haryana Food Website: https://epds.haryanafood.gov.in/search-rc.
2. Click on “Search Ration Card Details by Family ID.”

2. Here is the website, enter your Family Id.
3. Then enter the Given Captcha.
4. Now click on the Search Button
5. इसके बाद आपके राशन कार्ड की सारी जानकारी देने वाला पेज स्क्रीन पर होगा। इस तरह हरियाणा सरकार ने लोगों के लिए परिवार पोर्टल से राशन कार्ड प्राप्त करना और उसका विवरण प्राप्त करना आसान बना दिया है।
