DSSC Recruitment 2023 Notification Overview:

Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington (Nilgiris), Tamil Nadu has announced a recruitment notification to fill 44 positions across various roles including Stenographer Grade – II, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), Sukhani, Fireman, Cook, Technical Attendant – Printing Machine Operator, and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Office and Training. • Stenographer Grade – II: 04 Posts
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 07 Posts

• Fireman: 16 Posts
• Cook: 03 Posts
• Technical Attendant – Printing Machine Operator: 01 Post
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Office and Training: 07 Posts

Age Limit:

• For Stenographer Grade – II, LDC, Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), and Fireman: 18 to 27 years
• For Cook, Technical Attendant – Printing Machine Operator, MTS – Office and Training, and Sukhani: 18 to 25 years

Qualification Requirements:

• Stenographer: Intermediate (10+2) passed with Dictation and Transcription skills.
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Intermediate (12th) passed with typing speed requirements.
• Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade): Intermediate (10+2) passed with a valid Driving License for Heavy Motor Vehicle and relevant experience.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Office and Training, Cook: Matriculation (10th) Passed.
• Sukhani: Intermediate (10+2) passed with Certificate in Swimming.
• Fireman: Matriculation (10th) passed with Fire Aid Certificate.
• Technical Attendant – Printing Machine Operator: Certificate from ITI or Matriculation with relevant experience.

Selection Process:

• Written Test
• Skill Test (for certain posts)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Pay Scale:

• Stenographer Grade – II: Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100/-
• Technical Attendant and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs. 18,000 – Rs. 56,900/-
• Other Posts: Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200/-
